Formed in 2015, KINETIC is a conductorless string ensemble based in Houston, Texas.  Composed of sixteen emerging professional musicians, the members of KINETIC are passionate about showcasing their unique collaborative process and intriguing programming, focusing on repertoire outside the norm and commissioning new works from uprising and esteemed composers of our time. KINETIC is committed to enriching the cultural landscape in Houston as well as immersing themselves in their local communities.

Founded by violinist Natalie Lin, KINETIC has made quick strides in becoming the next ensemble to watch having been featured on Houston Public Media's KUHF and Classical 91.7, along with Houston Chronicle and Arts & Culture Texas Magazine.
